February Fellowship Gathering & Prospective Member Orientation
The event was well received by around 30 Jayceettes and friends. We all had a relaxing afternoon at Secret Garden, a nice and cozy café in Tin Hau. The gathering was filled with chit-chatting, games, tasty refreshment, laughter, and so on.
Before the MFG, a Prospective Member Orientation (PMO) was held for the baby Jayceettes and new comers. Mingle session was arranged to allow existing members to share their JC experience with new friends. Let’s continue to Shine Like Rubies.
It was my first time to host the PMO. The presentation file was done only before the event started. Thanks God. Yet, the powerpoint file of the Board of Directors’ report was corrupted onsite and I had to present the content with my memory. Two things learned, 1) don’t get things done last minute as there will always be a mess / problem; 2) don’t rely 100% on technology!!

2nd Board Meeting & Happy Valentine’s Day
Our Board meetings are scheduled on every month's 2nd Saturday. It’s touching to see all Board members and NAEO Stanley agree to go ahead for our monthly Board to be held on this Special St Valentine’s Day. For most ladies, this is a day to be reserved for their “honeys”. We were the only group meeting at the JC Office today. Besides celebrating Valentine’s Day, we prepared a cake for NAEO Stanley and Director Vanessa whose birthdays are in February.

Friday Fever at Hotel Panorama
Forgot when was the last time I went out for evening drinks with friends. Thanks Island JC for providing us the opportunity to get together at a nice place with marvelous sea view. Good chance to get away from the work pressure through chit-chatting and meeting new JC friends at such a relaxing environment. Hotpot dinner with Islanders afterwards concluded the evening with so much amusement. Delicious food, nice chat, thanks Islanders!

No gambling at the racecourse
My first time at the Happy Valley Racecourse on a race day! I don’t gamble, not only because my religious belief, but also because I am not really interested in horse racing. There are different themes for each Wednesday night at Happy Valley and we have to dress up in Office Chic this time. Easy, that means we are just be ourselves, haha!
Snacks were ok while it’s more important for us to enjoy the atmosphere! If we had a better plan beforehand, we could even book free manicure next time! IPP Anny, VP Joanne, VP Winnie and I enjoyed the night very much. In the midst of the busy JC life, this evening allowed us to get some fresh air from the green. Join us next time!

Happy Chinese Valentine's Day! 元宵節快樂!
At the beginning of the Year of the Ox, it is a great time to set New Year Resolution. What are your new resolutions?
As the President of HKJTT this year, I would be more than happy to see you all enjoying the JC life. The current Board of Directors has been working whole-heartedly to organize more interesting and meaningful projects for you.
Here is one update for you : Moving into the e-era, we are putting more focus on information technology. A newly revamped website will be launched later in the year and hope this will give you a fresh look online. In addition, e-newsletter will be issued regularly to keep you posted of HKJTT as well as JCIHK news. This is also one of our key objectives to align with the JCIHK’s commitment of protecting the environment. We are trying our best to employ resources in an environmentally friendly way.
Hope JCI does add colour to your life, especially in the midst of the current economic downturn. We wish you would be able to accomplish some of your life goals here. Let us enjoy the JC life together!

LOM P's K Gathering
This time, we went to CEO karaoke with festive dress code. NP led us to sing and drink, sing and drink, sing and drink… I am pretty sure that there will be a keen competition among the LOM Ps at the JC Karaoke Contest later this year!

First PP gathering of the year
This gathering originates from the previous visit to Hon Life President’s house during Chinese New Year. This year, we had afternoon tea at Siu Nam Kwok. It is really a valuable chance for a lot of Past Presidents to meet up at one single occasion. Also, it is very special for me to give out Laisee to my Board members.
